Hello Chycho, how are you doing? I got caught up by your video on youtube "The language of mathematics(1):Introduction" while searching for a guide to start studying math again. But then, when I say start studying, I really mean it. It's been a long time since I had contact with maths. I'm pretty bad at the basic operations and the whole basic mathematics theory. I, however, am up for the challenge and would really like to learn it. Could you help me a little on that? I know you've got a number of websites, but I got kinda lost on the contents and just a few instructions would do! hahahaha
Hi André, you are in for a very nice ride. Relearning math when you're older is a lot easier than on the first go. I think basically it's because we tend to appreciate it a lot more now that we're wiser :)
As for where to start? Here is my table of contents and the first part of Series I is what you need: http://chycho.blogspot.ca/2010/01/language-of-mathematics-table-of.html
You can skip the geometry in Series I and go to Series II after finishing the first part.
One thing to keep in mind, the Exercises and Solutions is not available right now, unfortunately.
